GODLY KNIT
God will take sincerity’s blue as he weaves his holy plan for you
He will mix it with the gold of hope as he pleats your everlasting rope
He will take the bird song from above and melt it with the red of love
Then taking green leaf out of tree he will place them in eternity
Now giving grace in shining white he will teach us what is wrong and wright
For long before the world began he knew the soul of every man
Then working out his fatherly quest he sent his son to give
us rest
